Kelsey Neubauer is a reporter and a part of the columbia school of journalism’s master of science class of 2019 with a specialization in investigative reporting.
before coming to new york, kelsey reported on the vermont statehouse and the city of burlington for vtdigger — a leading online non-profit, investigative news source.
She was previously the editor-in-chief of the award-winning college newspaper, the Vermont Cynic, which became a finalist for the Pacemaker award under her leadership. Before becoming editor, she was a reporter with many weekly bylines including an investigative story named the Diversity Story of the Year by the Associated Collegiate Press. In addition to her reporting experience, she interned with Live From Lincoln Center, where she worked on an Emmy award-winning production.
She recieved her bachelors in English from the university of vermont in 2018.
On the off days — she is a singer, dancer and bagel-loving native New Yorker.
